One Link in a Huge Prayer Chain

Rosary Coast to Coast is a nationwide event on October 7, 2018. The Ruth Institute is organizing the Lake Charles location of this event: “Rosary Around the Lake.”

We will plead for:

Divine Protection ~ Pardon for Sin ~ Salvation of Souls ~ the Reunion of All Christians.

We will meet at the Civic Center Amphitheater at 2 PM on October 7. We will spread out in groups of 11 as a living Rosary. The leader of each group will represent the “Lord’s Prayer,” with their 10 team members spread out, representing the 10 “Hail Mary” beads of that decade. We will start at the Amphitheater and go as far around Lake Charles as we can. From there, we’ll coordinate such that we’re all praying together.

If You're Not Catholic...

…or don’t pray the rosary, don’t let that stop you from participating. We are using this organizational form and format to get into place for the event, but we’re all praying for the same things. Participate where you can; feel free to pray on your own, too.

How You Can Participate

Organize a “decade:” a team of ten to represent “Hail Mary” beads. If you haven’t ordered 10 blue t-shirts for them, check if they can wear blue to the event (McNeese blue is a close match, if you’re wondering.)

As the organizer, you received a free gold shirt with your order, representing the “Lord’s Prayer” bead for your group. If you didn’t buy a “Rosary Around the Lake” T-shirt, just wear a gold or yellow shirt.

Sign up to receive regular updates from us about what to do in preparation for the event, and where to go and what to do on the day of the event. We want to let you in on what’s going on!

Participate as an individual. If you didn’t order an individual t-shirt, grab a blue one out of your closet. On the day of the event, you’ll join others to make a cluster of 10 around one of the “Lord’s Prayer” beads. Be sure you sign up for our email updates so you have times and locations.

Invite others to participate. Organize a group from your job, your school or your church. Tell other people about it.

Volunteer. We are looking for volunteer staff for the day of the event! You can sign up on the website.

We will start at the Amphitheater and go as far around Lake Charles as we can. This set-up will look so great in photos! If we have a large enough group, we might even be visible from I-10. How cool would that be?!? Best of all, Jesus and His Holy Mother will be delighted!

Please organize your team today. We will have to close this store on September 20, to make sure the t-shirts get printed and delivered in plenty of time! Don’t delay.
